The INSPIRE Interactive Data specification platform offers MS data providers two new applications to support in general their initial data scope “identification” task whether their dataset(s) fall under the data scope of INSPIRE or not.
The first application “Interactive Data Specifications” facilitates the use of the INSPIRE Data Specification – Technical Guidelines documents by providing means to study as well as compare selected parts of the INSPIRE technical documentation (from up to 3 data themes).
The second application “Find your scope” has been developed to support MS data providers with identification of the INSPIRE data scope that is relevant to their dataset(s) that they administer. This application is foreseen to be useful especially in situations where data provider’s datasets do not follow exactly the INSPIRE data themes /application schemas content.
The platform also provides links to useful additional resources of information (e.g. INSPIRE Registry, website etc.).
The development of the Toolkit has been supported by ARE3NA, Action 1.17 of the EU ISA Programme.
